RELAX

"ONCE A YEAR,

GO SOMEPLACE YOU'VE

NEVER BEEN BEFORE."

National Railway Museum

Even if you're not into locomotives and steamy journeys, this spectacular museum will turn you into a train addict. Make sure you stop for tea at their café, as they have some of the best scones in town... oh, and there are carriage-like seats, what else would you want?!

Museum Gardens

Right in the heart of York you'll find the exquisite gardens surrounding the Yorkshire Museum, where you can explore the history of the city, through loads of interactive activities for everyone. In the summer we love having pic-nics in the gardens, while we try and spot as many squirrels as possible!

The city walls

One of York's peculiarities is certainly the walls all around it. You can climb the stepson walk along the walls where you will get amazing views of the City. It will take you about two hours for the whole tour, and after all that walking you can relax in one of the hundreds of pubs in town!
